Lighting
A slim brass bar on a curved arm that washes light down over a frame. It is a small fixture that changes how a whole wall reads.
The LED strip runs the full length, so the bottom of the frame is as lit as the top.
Rechargeable option means you can light a wall with no wiring behind it.
Angle it to the depth of the frame so nothing reflects back at you.
Unlacquered, so it patinas slowly rather than chipping.

An unlit picture is part of a wall. A lit one is the thing you look at. It is the cheapest change with the biggest effect in a living room.
02 — The angle
Glass-framed work bounces light straight back if the arm sits too far out. Pivot it until the reflection is below your eye line and leave it.
03 — The power
The rechargeable version lasts about six weeks of evenings and takes a magnetic mount, which is how most people fit it without an electrician.
