01 — The temperature
Above 3000K light reads clinical and turns warm wood grey. Every fixture in this shop is specified around 2700K, and mixing temperatures in one room is the most common lighting mistake.
02 — The dimming
Budget bulbs flicker and hum below half brightness. These use a driver rated for trailing-edge dimmers all the way down to 10%.
03 — The glass
A faint amber tint softens the filament so it is comfortable to look at directly, which matters in any open shade.
